In preparation for this release, Wayne dropped a mixtape titled Tha Fix Before Tha VI on September 29, 2023. Serving as a prelude to the upcoming album, the mixtape features 10 tracks, including the single “Kat Food,” and collaborations with artists like Jon Batiste, Euro, Cool & Dre, and Fousheé.
